Thomas must collect a shipment of wood from the eucalyptus plantation in the Brazilian forest. When he arrives, he meets Marcio and Marcia – a pair of wood- burning engines who have done everything the same way their whole lives! Thomas suggests they try something new and switches jobs with the pair. But Thomas learns something about wood-burning engines that day...they can’t travel as far as coal-burning engines! And Marcio and Marcia are happy to be reminded how much they love being Really Useful on their eucalyptus railway.
